Effects

Effect properties control visual enhancements applied to the component, primarily through drop shadows. These settings allow you to give components depth by adjusting the color, transparency, and spread of the shadow.

Shadow Color

This property controls the color of a component’s shadow.

  • To set a color, click the color swatch icon to open the Color Picker, or directly input a hex value to specify a color.

Shadow Opacity

This property controls how transparent the shadow color is displayed, based on a percentage value.

  • The value ranges from 0% (fully transparent/invisible) to 100% (not transparent at all/solid color).

Shadow Radius

This property controls the distance the shadow is offset from the component along the horizontal and vertical axes (commonly known as X and Y offsets).

  • This numeric value determines how far the shadow is positioned away from the component's edges.

Blur Radius

This property allows you to specify a numeric value that determines how far the shadow spreads and how diffuse its edges are. When this is available for a component, it is found in the "Other" editor.

  • The higher the numeric value, the softer and larger the shadow will be displayed. This effectively defines the blur level of the shadow.
