Background properties control the color and opacity that fills the area behind a component's content and inside its borders. It is the primary tool for visually defining the component's presence and styling.

To set a color, click the color swatch icon to the left of the word "transparent" to open the Color Picker. Alternatively, you can directly input a hex value to specify a color.

This is used to control the color of a component’s background. Click the icon to the left of the word “transparent” to open the color picker, or input a hex value to specify a color. Clicking into the percentage field and changing the value will change the opacity of the hex code value.

This is independent from the opacity editor which will change the opacity of the component as a whole.
