Cover Cards
Learn how to create and manage posts in your Feed using Cover Cards.

Manage the Layout

 

Choose from starter templates, or make your own layout by selecting Custom Card, which will allow you to add Components to customize.

 

 

After you've set a layout for your Cover Card, you can modify by clicking on the "Change" button to select a different layout.

 

Changing the layout will delete content from your current card. If you do not want to change the layout, you can click "Cancel" to return to the current layout.

 

 

Save Card Layout

If you've created a custom layout, you can save the layout as a Custom Template for future use. Here's how: 1. Create a Custom Card 2. Click on "Save Card Layout" 3. Enter a name for the custom template in the form field that is exposed 4. Click "Save"

 

Your Custom Template will become available in the "Custom Templates" tab when you create a new post.

 

 

To create a new Post, click on the ‘+ New Post’ button at the top right of the Dashboard. To update an existing post, clicking on its Title or the Edit button under "Actions" from the Dashboard. Each of these actions will direct you to the Post Editor screen where you can manage content.

 

 

Add or Edit a Post

To create a new Post, click on the ‘+ New Post’ button at the top right of the Dashboard.

Each of these actions will direct you to the Post Editor screen where you can manage content.

 

Post Name

Focus on the "New Post" text field to enter a new title for your post.

 

 

 

Pin Post

You can choose to pin a Cover Card to the top or bottom of a Feed. Here's how: 1. Toggle "Pin Post: No" to "Yes" which will reveal the Pin Location selector 2. Select the Pin Location (top or bottom)

 

 

Post Tags

After you have saved a post, you can assign a Post Tag to it. A Post Tag is optional. If no tags are provided, the feed will display all posts. If you are managing multiple feeds within a feed type, you need to select a tag so that the post will display in the in corresponding feed.

 

 

Card Action Type

You can choose to link the Cover Card to another screen. Here's how: 1. Select "Deep Link / Universal Link" from the "Card Action Type" dropdown which will reveal the Deep Link field 2. Enter the path to which you'd like to link in the Deep Link field If you chose a Template, the entire Cover Card will be tappable by default. If you chose to a build a Custom Card, you will need to toggle "Entire Card is Tappable: No" to "Yes" if you desire this behavior.
