If you wish to publish your project, or need to save a specific revision for future use, you can create a Versions. In the Versions Panel you will find all of the versions that have been created for your project. You can view how your project looked at that point in time, roll your project back to a previous version, or promote a version to Staging or Production.

Creating Versions
To create a new Version, open the Versions Panel and click "Save Version." You can also use the Ctrl+S (Windows) or Cmd+S (Mac) keyboard shortcut while working on the Canvas.
📍📍📍 Note 📍📍📍
Because saving a version captures the entire project—not just a single layout—it creates a large file. Saving too frequently, especially on a large project, can lead to project bloat and slower performance. The key is to be intentional with your saving.
- Save at Milestones: Save a version when you've reached a significant point in your design, such as completing a major flow, finishing a new layout, or before handing off work to another team member.
- Save Before Promotion: Always save a version before promoting it to a higher development environment (e.g., from draft to staging). This creates a clear, documented checkpoint.
- Be Descriptive: Always give your saved versions a clear, descriptive name and add notes. This helps you and your collaborators understand exactly what changes are included in that version.
Saved Versions Cannot Be Deleted: Once a version is saved, there is no way for a user to delete it from the project, this can quickly create clutter in your interface. This is another reason why it's so important to be intentional.
Viewing Previous Versions
Click on any of the versions to view how your project looked at that time. Note that you cannot make any changes to the canvas when viewing an older version. Click "Current Version" at the top of the list to resume editing the latest version of your project.
Promoting Versions
When it comes time to publish your app, you will do so by "promoting" a version to Staging and then Production. To promote a version:
- Click the menu (three dot) icon next to the desired version
- Click "Publish" from the context menu
