Members
Learn about and manage user roles within Shipcode.
You can invite new users to your Project and manage user permissions in the "Members" tab.

Access Control is per Project and each user added to that project will have a single role. The user who creates the project is made an admin of that project by default and when new users are added to the project a role will need to be selected for them.
User Roles
Users in your Project can be assigned one of the following roles:
- Admin: Users can perform all actions including managing users. Admins are the highest role for any given project. Admins have full access to make any change on the project. A project must always have at least 1 admin. But multiple users can be made admins. Admins are the only ones who can change others roles, rename the project, delete the project etc.
- Publisher: Users can create and publish content but cannot manage other users. Publishers are one step below admin. They can make versions of the project and publish them. They have write access to the Storyboard and the Project Library.
- Contributor: Users can create content but cannot publish content or manage other users. Contributors have write access to the Storyboard and Project Library but do not have access to making versions. Any changes they make will need to be published by a Publisher or Admin.
- Viewer: Users can view content but not create or publish content and cannot manage other users. Viewers have no write access. They can only view the project and libraries. They can select components on the Storyboard, but they can't modify them.
